In the 13th grade Awakeri Ninjas hosted Foxy Feet in front of a big crowd. The long wet grass made life difficult for good attacking football. Ninjas had quite a period of good pressure in the second half, but Foxy Feet caught them on the break to extend their lead. Cody Parsons went agonisingly close to scoring for Ninjas after a good move. Foxy Feet sealed the win with a late goal, making the score 4 – 0. Centre defenders Sophie Growden and Mason Nurkka were in super form for Ninjas and shared player of the day honours. Joseph Spalding was dynamic in the midfield too.
