Awakeri's soccer teams enjoyed more wins than losses in Saturday's soccer action.
A determined Awakeri Autos team took to the field looking for a win against Kawerau in the 13th grade premier division. After last week's average performance, Autos played with more sting and came away with a 2 - 1 win. The player of the match was Matthew Reeves, who played keeper. He was in top form, saving many attempts at goal by Kawerau.
