The score would have been quite different if it wasn't for her quick reflexes!
Awakeri Magic played against Ohope Orca in another exciting, hard fought game this week in the 9th grade. Both teams started well, keeping the pressure on each other during the first half. Many attempts on goal were made by both sides, with some narrowly missing, bouncing off the goal posts and being caught by the busy goalies. Blake Heath was all over the park in typical fashion, feeding the forwards as usual. Ash Kelly and Ryan Cobb defended well again while Addison Neil took a nasty ball to the face but recovered like a champ and was back on the field in no time.
